Data tracking
Sharpflow lets you capture balance-related journal lines with dates, short labels, and notes drawn from information already available on your machine. Tracking here means recording what you observed or decided to write down—not monitoring live markets or linked wallets.
- Dated entry lines for each journal session
- Optional categories that match your personal naming habits
- Space for free-form commentary beside structured fields
Record organization
A journal is only useful if you can find last month’s page without digging through folders. Sharpflow emphasizes clear framing:
- Period-based grouping so weeks and months stay distinct
- Consistent page layout that mirrors a paper journal’s margins and stamps
- Simple filters for category or date ranges within your local records
Analytical review
Analytical features help you read your own history, not predict markets.
- Side-by-side comparison of two periods you select
- Highlight markers for entries you flag during review
- Snapshot views that gather related notes into one reading pane
Historical records
Past pages remain part of the workspace so you can reconstruct how your notes changed.
- Scrollable history of prior journal frames
- Entry detail preserved as you originally wrote it
- Archive-friendly structure for long-running personal logs
Local information management
Sharpflow is positioned for desktop, local-first use with informational data you control.
- Work with records kept in your local environment
- Export or copy summaries for your own filing when the application provides those utilities
- No requirement to connect payment rails, exchanges, or custody services
Data summaries
When a stretch of journal pages grows dense, summaries help you see the outline without rewriting everything.
- Compact period digests built from entries you already stored
- Count and category breakdowns for personal reference
- Printable or copyable text blocks suitable for offline archives
